Cooking With Chris - Low Fat Lasagna

 Here it is Cooking with Chris number 38 a Low Calorie Lasagna, it is a very tasty and easy recipe and make plenty so there will be leftovers for meals later on

 Ingredients
1/3 c. or more Dried Minced Onions
 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 (46 ounce) jar other pasta sauce
1 lb lean ground turkey
16 ounces part-skim ricotta cheese
12 ounces fat free mozzarella cheese , shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese , grated
2 Egg Beaters egg substitute
1 (1 lb) package Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, cook ground turkey, onion & garlic using the olive oil. Add sauce and simmer 15 minutes.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix ricotta,1 cup mozzarella, all of Parmesan and the egg-stirs.
  3. In 9x13 baking dish, coat the bottom of the baking dish with cooking spray, layer noodles, ricotta cheese mixture, sauce, and a little mozzarella cheese. Repeat the Layers until out of ingredients.
  4. Cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes
  5. Uncover, top with remaining mozzarella, Bake 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle some Parmesan on top, let cool down for 15 minutes, and Enjoy your delectable, meal, with plenty of leftovers to boot!
